FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

The Youth Worker will plan, deliver, and evaluate youth club activities, ensuring safeguarding, regulatory, and health & safety requirements are met. They will actively engage young people in informal learning opportunities to promote their development. The role involves working with young people aged 10-18, delivering information and guidance, and collaborating with local partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver and evaluate youth club activities
  • Ensure safeguarding, regulatory and health & safety requirements are met
  • Actively engage young people in informal learning opportunities

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Introduction to safeguarding children and safeguarding adults training or willingness to undertake
  • Level 3 Youth Work or equivalent professional qualification or willingness to working towards
  • Experience of supporting others in their work with children and young people

Hours and Our posts are based across East Surrey. This is a permanent position all year contract.
