Summary
To conduct financial planning and analysis for all grace eyre finances including budgeting and forecasting, and contract tenders, negotiations, and renewals. Support the Finance Manager and Finance Team with financial analysis. Advise Directors and other senior leadership colleagues on finances of Grace Eyre based on the data you create.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
- Participate in Grace Eyre’s short- and medium-term financial planning to contribute to Grace Eyre’s strategic plan.
- Deliver financial and commercial analytics, and modelling, implementing best practices and modelling standards in modelling and business development processes.
- Participate in a robust budget setting and reforecasting process.
- To support and advise the Finance Manager and Business partners to produce accurate, complete timely and useful monthly financial and management accounts/ budget variance reports in easy read to enable Grace Eyre to understand, interpret and manage our finances.
- Participate in relevant finance / ops meetings to assist in planning and control of services provided.
- Develop and keep up to date pricing strategies and costs models for all services.
- Evaluate new business opportunities or proposed major new fundraising / project initiatives. Summarise and present complex opportunities and risks for senior management decision-making.
- To provide financial data as needed for contract negotiations.
- To provide financial data for other stakeholders as needed e.g. lenders, funders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across finance, operations, and business development teams.
- To support other teams with analysis as needed to support our overall data strategy and reporting e.g. power BI KPI reporting.
Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills
- CFA preferable but would consider a qualified accountant (CIPFA), or finance degree.
- Ability to develop, monitor and maintain management information systems and procedures.
- Ability to communicate information clearly and precisely, and assimilate data and information quickly.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing and over the telephone with individuals and with a wide variety of organisations and audiences. To research, analyse and interpret complex information and produce clear verbal and written reports.
- Ability to solve problems and continually update knowledge to support Grace Eyre to develop best practice financial modelling and analysis
- Initiative-taking and able to get on with things with minimal input
- Good IT Skills - general Microsoft office suite.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Power Bi skills for reporting and other reporting tools
- Experience of financial modelling / data analysis including contracts, pricing schedules, cost analysis and business cases.
- Experience of budget setting, variance analysis, and forecasting

Qualifications/ Education
Essential
