Summary
The Trainee Sales Estimator will be a key member of the Precast Flooring Team, focusing on growing the flooring and Precast order book throughout the UK & Ireland. Responsibilities include preparing estimates from drawings and bill of quantities, liaising with customers, and winning sales/orders. This position is based in Toomebridge.
Key duties will include the preparation of estimates from drawings and bill of quantities, liaising with customers directly and ultimately winning sales/orders. This position will be based at Toomebridge and will be responsible for providing a friendly and professional service to customers and staff and requires high levels of organisation and attention to detail whilst ensuring customer expectations are met.
Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience with estimating precast, steelwork or insitu concrete works would be a distinct advantage.
- Ability to read technical drawings such as Autocad and reinforcement schedules is essential
- Ability to demonstrate a commercial understanding of structural engineering and precast design
- A persistent and determined individual who is highly motivated, and target driven.
- Enhanced training for the role will be provided.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Project
