FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

We are looking for a proactive and organised Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our domiciliary care service in Tameside. You will play a key role in ensuring that office tasks are carried out efficiently, care staff are supported, and client services run smoothly and in line with compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the care management team and field staff.
  • Maintain and update client and carer records, schedules, and documentation.
  • Answer incoming calls and emails, dealing with enquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of care rotas.
  • Support recruitment processes including arranging interviews and collecting documentation.
  • Maintain staff compliance records including DBS checks, training, and certifications.
  • Prepare documents, reports, letters, and invoices when required.
  • Liaise with clients, carers, families, and health professionals.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all information in line with GDPR regulations.

Core Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within health or social care.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and work under pressure.
  • A team player with a flexible and helpful attitude.
  • Familiarity with CQC standards and care coordination is an advantage.
