Summary

This role involves providing support to individuals in their homes, mentoring a team, conducting assessments, and ensuring high-quality care. The position requires a driving license, knowledge of the area, and a Level 3 in Care or equivalent (or willingness to work towards it).
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Supporting customers with personal care and daily living.
- Mentoring a team of Care and Support Workers.
- Undertaking quality monitoring visits.
- Setting up and designing care and support packages.
- Providing standby cover for our out of hours service.
- Ensure that any concerns raised by the team are appropriately managed.
Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:
- A full valid driving licence and your own vehicle.
- Knowledge of the Wiltshire and BaNes area.
- Ability to lead, motivate and engage a team.
- Level 3 in Care or Equivalent.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Available to work 7-2 and/or 4-10 across Monday to Sunday.
- Available to work alternate weekends.

Join our Home Care Team, part of the [Employer hidden] Group, in Wiltshire/BaNes and surrounding areas. Also referred to as domiciliary care, our tailored service provides support to people within their own homes, out and about, with personal care, hobbies, or companionship.
For this role, you will need to ensure you have:
- A full valid driving licence and your own vehicle.
- Knowledge of the Wiltshire and BaNes area and able to commute to Wiltshire/BaNes from your home location.
- Ability to lead, motivate and engage a team.
- Level 3 in Care or Equivalent or be willing to work towards it.
- Right to work in the UK (unfortunately we are not able to offer sponsorship).
- Available to work 7-2 and/or 4-10 across Monday to Sunday on a two-week rolling rota
- Available to work alternate weekends.

A Specialist Care and Support Worker involves:
- Supporting our customers at times where extra support is required by accompanying them to appointments, shopping, preparing meals and helping with daily living routines including washing, dressing and personal care.
- Mentoring and supporting a team of Care and Support Workers to deliver high quality care which enables our customers to remain in their own homes
- Undertaking quality monitoring visits, actioning any points raised, and updating the Team Manager where appropriate.
- Setting up and designing care and support packages including carrying out initial assessments and reviews to ensure that the care we provide is tailored to our individual customers’ needs and packages are accurate and continually reviewed and up dated.
- Providing standby cover for our out of hours service.
- Ensure that any concerns raised by the team are appropriately managed.
