FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

This is a great opportunity for an individual with experience as a support specialist who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will have the chance to progress within this role over time, with a clear career path (if interested) in becoming Head of Support, and will be able to make a significant contribution to the company within this role.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Obtaining all relevant information from the client with regards to the requested task, prior to assigning this to an engineer
  • Scheduling of tasks and appropriately assigning them to staff members using processes in place
  • Maintaining fast initial response times when clients submit requests
  • Over time you should be able to appropriately assign each task to the most suitable team member without guidance
  • Carefully consider the scheduling of tasks, taking into account staff absences, task priority & SLA
  • Effectively and regularly communicating with clients and staff to ensure tasks are not missed and are being progressed in-line with targets

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Organisational and communication skills are key
  • Proven track record in first-line support (as a minimum)
  • Ability to effectively summarise tasks and understand the basics behind what the client is requesting
  • Aptitude for assessing whether requests require more information from the client & the responsibility in obtaining all relevant information before assigning to an engineer
  • Great team player who is passionate about delivering results to help grow the business

As a Support specialist within our Leeds office, you will be responsible for providing excellent support to our client’s on a daily basis. Working as part of our support team, you will be the first point of contact between our engineers and stakeholders, ensuring all queries/issues/ tickets are resolved efficiently or escalated to the appropriate engineer.
