Summary

Junior DevOps Engineer proficient in Python, Java, and .Net technologies is sought to design, implement, test, and improve cloud infrastructure. The role involves building and supporting Build and Release Automation Services, developing and maintaining CI/CD systems, and automating cloud infrastructure deployment and management.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Build, evaluate, and deploy software stack.
  • Plan and deploy high availability solutions.
  • Build and manage public/private cloud server networks.
  • Write in Scripting and programming languages.

Job Description: DevOps Engineer (Junior)

We are currently looking for Junior DevOps Engineer for our Cloud and Enterprise Information Management Practice, who is proficient in Python, Java and .Net Technologies. To work on Design, Implementation, Testing and improvement of the Cloud Infrastructure must be required. Candidate will be responsible for delivering scalable, robust and seamless technology solutions that adhere to and supporting the Build and Release Automation Services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to capture and define business requirements and pain points and translate into technical solutions or features which add value and solve business challenges. Part of a team building, evaluating and deploying the software stack. Plan and deploy high availability solutions for DevOps services. Analyse to choose and deploy commercial and open-source tools, technologies and techniques to ensure a streamlined, efficient and productive development and operational environment. Build and manage public/private cloud server networks and infrastructure in development and production environments. Writing in Scripting and programming languages. Build and maintain the CI/CD systems running all the automated testing systems. Install, configure, and extend a variety of software systems, including software for version control, code peer review, compilation, continuous integration and deployment, performance data collection and analysis, systems monitoring and network availability. Automate the deployment, configuration and management of Cloud Infrastructure. • Involved in DevOps and process automation by participating in process analysis and documentation. Develop and maintain Continuous Integration processes, tools, automated test frameworks, code quality analysis and continuous delivery.

Required Skills and Experience

Experience in an Agile/Scrum process and DevOps environment.

Experience with deploying enterprise applications to AWS /Azure cloud environments

Application development background using Java, Python and .Net is required

Experience with CI/CD Pipelines.

Strong Knowledge of Bamboo/Jenkins or similar build/deploy tools

knowledge of AWS and Azure Eco Systems and Services

Beginner to-Mid level knowledge of Linux operating system, Bash Scripting.

Experience with setup and configuration of Git repositories a plus

Practical Experience with monitoring tools; Nagios/Nagios XI

Have good understand of Infrastructure security and good security practices

Having good Understanding on Docker, Kubernetes, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Vagrant, etc.,

Knowledge in Terraform, PowerShell to manage infrastructure as code

Demonstrated ability to learn and understand the technical components and architecture of the system Good communication, interpersonal, intuitive skills with ability to work efficiently in both independent and teamwork environments

Hours: 40 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday
