FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

As an R&D Technical Assistant at Vuba, you will support the R&D team in the development and testing of new products and technologies. Your role will involve hands-on work with experiments, technical testing, and data analysis to contribute directly to the development of innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • Collaborate with the R&D team in planning, executing, and documenting experiments, trials, and product development projects.
  • Provide hands-on support by conducting technical tests, experiments, and product trials. Record, analyse, and interpret test results to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Gather and organize data from R&D activities. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and technical documents to communicate findings to the wider team.
  • Help design and build prototypes for new products or improvements, ensuring accuracy and consistency in testing and iteration.
  • Undertake site visits investigating product failures taking samples to test in the lab.
  • Ensure the R&D lab is well-maintained, stocked with necessary materials, and organized for maximum efficiency. Assist with managing inventory and ordering supp lies as needed.
  • Any other Ad Hoc duties

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify problems and devise practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Driving license is essential
