FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

We are looking for an organized and hard-working person to join Vuba as a Production Operative. Working as part of the small production team, this person will be responsible for producing a range of resin products to formulations, assisting with stock counts and receiving goods into the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Boxing orders ready for dispatch ensuring order is correctly labeled with the right paperwork.

Core Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a dispatch operative or a similar role in a warehouse (preferable)
  • Ability to lift and transfer heavy loads manually.
  • Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (a unique Vuba uniform, safety gear and training will be provided) Vacuum sealing of orders ready for dispatch
  • Loading and unloading of LGV’s and HGV’s inline with H&S guidelines

As a Production Operative at Vuba, you will:

  • Boxing orders ready for dispatch ensuring order is correctly labeled with the right paperwork.

  • Loading and unloading of LGV’s and HGV’s inline with H&S guidelines
  • Any other ad hoc duties

Qualifications and Experience:

  • General knowledge of health and safety within a production/ warehouse environment
  • Ability to follow set procedure
  • Ability to work alone as well as part of a team and to work of own initiative.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • FLT License is preferred but not essential.
