FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

We are seeking a confident individual to join Vuba as a Production Operative at our Aggregate plant in Goole. The successful candidate will be responsible for working as part of a team to run a busy aggregate factory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee packaging plant, ensuring safe operation of all plant on site, ensuring smooth production flow of aggregate through the factory
  • Operating plant round site, operating FLT, equipment to aid production
  • Taking delivery of raw materials, checking delivery paperwork against orders and making sure the aggregate is stored correctly. Moving finished product to safe storage
  • Loading HGV’s in a safe manner
  • Checking production schedules, in accordance with business demands
  • Ensure site is kept clean and tidy
  • Monitoring stock levels

Core Requirements:

  • Experience within the aggregate sector would be advantageous but not essential
  • General knowledge of health and safety within a production environment
  • Ability to follow set procedure
  • Ability to work alone as well as part of a team and to work of own initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • FLT License is preferred but not essential
