FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

Vuba is looking for an organized and diligent Production Operative to join their team in Bridgewater. The role involves producing resin products, assisting with stock counts, receiving goods, and general warehouse duties. The role includes taking delivery of raw materials, moving finished products, loading HGVs, monitoring stock levels, and managing the trade counter. Candidates should have experience in a similar role, possess good health and safety knowledge and be able to work alone or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Taking delivery of raw materials, checking delivery paperwork against orders and making sure the aggregate is stored correctly
  • Moving finished product to safe storage
  • Loading HGVs in a safe manner
  • Checking production schedules, in accordance with business demands
  • Ensure the site is kept clean and tidy.
  • Monitoring stock levels
  • Manage the trade counter for walk in customers and can advise on products.

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Previous experience as a dispatch operative or a similar role in a warehouse (preferable)
  • Ability to lift and transfer heavy loads manually.
  • General knowledge of health and safety within a production/ warehouse environment
  • Ability to follow set procedure.
  • Ability to work alone as well as part of a team and to work of own initiative.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • FLT License is preferred but not essential.

As a Production Operative at Vuba, you will:
