Summary
As a Tower Crane Lead Erector & Erector, you are responsible for assembling, dismantling and making tower cranes ready for use at various sites throughout the UK. This always in a team of 3 to 4 colleagues led by a Erection Supervisor. The role requires a valid driving license, experience in construction, and a CPCS Slinger/signaller A40 certification. Key Responsibilities/Duties
- You are flexible, driven, motivated and can work both independently and in a team.
- You are not afraid of heights and like to work outside
- Read and understand the operations manual for all of the equipment
- Complete reports in a timely and detailed manner
- Respond to unplanned/emergency work outside of the normal work schedule
- Maintain flexibility and understanding that all staff may be required to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to meet the needs and goals of the company
- You are safety conscious and have some technical affinity
- You are in possession of a valid driving license
Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Must have at least two years of experience in an construction environment or equivalent military experience
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Prior crane experience is a plus
- Valid CPCS or equivalent card in relevant qualifications
- CPCS Slinger/signaller A40 is essential
- Ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions
- Physically fit as manual work is required
