Summary

# The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Stadium Bars & Events Manager to join our Stadium Operations team on a full-time permanent basis reporting to the Operations Director.

The role holder is seen as a senior member of the Operations department and takes responsibility for leading the Bars Food & Beverage department at [Employer hidden] to deliver an excellent fan experience at The Rec Stadium for event days. The role holder will maximise the opportunity for food and beverage sales and profit, by creating detailed process-driven and efficient systems.

Key Responsibilities

To coordinate the delivery of all food and beverage at The Rec on a matchday and at events, integrating the range of food and beverage solutions to ensure a excellent fan experience, delivered efficiently, while maximising financial performance.

opportunities to innovate through productive and positive relationships with our suppliers and concessionaires.

Develop a effective casual staff recruitment systems and procedures, that ensure effective staff operating levels. Identify and train supervisors to lead our matchday staff, encouraging the retention of capable and talented people through clear communication, care and providing a clear focus on our values and expectations.

Utilise existing management accounts and data to analyse business performance to maximise sales opportunities and profit, that will support recommendations on pricing strategy. Ensure all food and beverage operations are conducted in an entirely safe manner,

protecting our staff, contractors and customers, following Health and Safety processes and systems to ensure we exceed regulatory compliance standards.

Support other large commercial and partner events at [Employer hidden], held at other event locations or Farleigh House.

Support Club sustainability and environmental areas of focus.

Manage daily food and beverage operations in the stadium, ensuring all stands and kiosks are well-staffed, stocked, and running smoothly during events. This includes overseeing setup and breakdown, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring health and safety standards are met

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

Experience of working in a large volume food & beverage venue

Experience of leading large teams and maximising the performance of staff

Excellent planning and coordination skills

Flexible approach to working hours

Experience of working in fast-paced environment and to deadlines

Show clear understanding of managing food & beverage costs and examples of maximising

profit conversion

Experienced of working in a focused customer service environment with excellent standards

It is preferred that the successful candidate has:

Experience of using till and stock management systems Good verbal and non-verbal communication skills Food and/ or Health & Safety training / qualification Valid full UK driving license
