Summary

As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will benefit from flexible, on-going work with attractive rate of pay and free accommodation. You will support clients in their own homes with activities of daily living, including personal care, food preparation, mobility support, and medication needs.

Job description

As a Live-In Care Assistantfor a busy healthcare organisation like ours, you will benefit from flexible, on-going work with attractive rate of pay and free accommodation. Due to expansion, we require more Care Assistants who are willing and able to support clients in their own homes. This opportunity will allow you to meet a diverse range of people and work for a long standing and successful care organisation. Each client will have individual care requirements, however, you may be expected to support with all client’s activities of daily living such as:

  • Personal care
  • Food preparation
  • Supporting with mobility
  • Ensuring medication needs are met
  • You may also help our clients to access the community, help with their shopping or help them engage in their hobbies

Care experience will be an advantage but not compulsory as full training will be given, you however will need to be patient, calm, able to work alone, as well as part of a team. Good attitude to work is highly important to this post. In return for your time, skills and diligence, rate of pay will be £500 per week with some possible variances due to complexity of needs, you will have access to professional support, training and other benefits such as:
