Summary

Assistant Management Accountant needed for [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] in London. Key responsibilities include client invoicing, revenue recognition, balance sheet management, royalty declarations, and system management. Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the client invoicing cycle
  • Ensuring revenue recognition is in line with accounting standards
  • Ownership and management of various balance sheet accounts
  • Leading the royalty declaration process, booking accruals & project allocations
  • Systems management including setting up new clients, projects and linking the CRM & accounting software
  • Working in partnership with sales teams & credit control to resolve any client queries
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Supporting weekly working capital reporting & cashflow forecasting
  • Supporting working capital reporting for monthly board meetings
  • Adhoc analysis & reporting

Core Requirements

  • Have applied technical and analytical skills using Excel
  • Ideally be educated to degree level in a numerate subject, and with strong A-levels in mathematical/ scientific based subjects
  • Studying towards gaining accounting qualification – ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Have pride in your deliverables
  • Are highly organised and good at planning
  • Good at working independently and as part of a team
  • Are flexible and self-motivated
  • Are good under pressure
  • Able to travel throughout the UK
