Summary

Job Description:

SOUS CHEF

Start Date : Immediate

Based: [Employer hidden] Marylebone, but some shift may be required at our other locations

Hours: Full Time 45-50 hour week (over 5 days) Includes weekends and evenings

Salary: Competitive for the right applicant, $^+$ share of service, $^+$ Company pension Contribution

A very hands-on job, that will suit an experienced Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef looking to step up and take on more responsibility and join a company that continues to expand & develop new projects & ideas through our Café, Restaurant, Shops & Tasting Events

With an award-winning shop as your larder, we are looking for a chef to join our team, who understands and respects Our food is honest and seasonal, showcasing the produce and products that are sold through our shops, and of course, CHEESE plays a major part. The dishes often focus on classic regional cookery, so an understanding of classic cooking techniques is essential.

As SOUS CHEF you will be working with our HEAD CHEF & managing a talented kitchen team that oversees all the food and menus across the company.

The ideal candidate will be:

An experienced Snr Chef de Partie or Jnr Sous Chef currently working in a quality establishment looking to step up.

Passionate about food and classic techniques with a desire to learn and enjoy all aspects of the kitchen as we make our own terrines, cured meats, pies, cakes, biscuits, chutneys, pickles & jams along an understanding of French & Italian regional cuisine & produce.

A great work ethic, positive attitude that thrives & leads the team when busy with an ability to be well organised and stay calm under pressure.
