FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

We are looking for a Junior System Test Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Performing manual testing of GUI based control applications
  • Regression testing of embedded firmware using a variety of [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] product variants
  • Maintenance of System Test Lab infrastructure
  • Ensure the System Test activities are conducted in conjunction with the Quality Management System

  • Degree level qualifications, or equivalent, in relevant subject
  • Very reliable with a positive “can do” attitude
  • Diligent
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Adaptive to a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving aptitude and ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Duties and responsibilities

Responsible for execution of system level testing of [Employer hidden] systems and products. Including, but not limited to:

  • Performing manual testing of GUI based control applications
  • Regression testing of embedded firmware using a variety of [Employer hidden] product variants
  • Maintenance of System Test Lab infrastructure
  • Ensure the System Test activities are conducted in conjunction with the Quality Management System

Contribute to

  • Maintenance of documentation for test plans and test campaigns in established test management framework
  • Management of bug tracking activities from System Test activities
  • Build and maintenance of test racks as required
  • Including [Employer hidden] hardware and third party test equipment

Experience Required

Degree level qualifications, or equivalent, in relevant subject

Desirable

  • Interest in RF technology
  • Experience with Linux systems
  • Understanding of Python scripting for test automation
