FULL DESCRIPTION

Business Support Manager

Mortha Halls of Ivy is seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Support Manager to join our team. The Business Support Manager will be responsible for overseeing administrative functions, managing communication channels, and providing support to various departments within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for the company, handling all incoming calls and inquiries.
  • Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and delegate responsibilities to subordinates as needed.
  • Assist in ensuring all quotations sent to customers are accurately documented, verified, and checked.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the company database, updating records as necessary.
  • Handle all correspondence and inquiries related to accounts, sales, statistics, and expense records.
  • Ensure adherence to procedures for issuing, amending, and endorsing company policies.
  • Collaborate with financial staff to provide regular and accurate financial advice to the directors.
  • Update clients on the performance and financial status of ongoing projects on a regular basis.
  • Support compliance with the Governance Framework and Assurance Standards.
  • Develop and maintain a handbook for central staff to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Utilise various business development techniques to meet Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.
  • Liaise with the operations department to provide administrative support as needed.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field. Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant software. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
