PRP are an experienced multidisciplinary team of structural, civil and geotechnical engineers and have a vacancy for an Assistant Engineering Geologist/Geo-environmental Engineer to join our expanding team in Northampton.

Attributes and Key Skills

  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the industry
  • Hold a full UK drivers licence and own transport
  • Have a degree in engineering geology, geology or environmental science
  • Be able to carry out site contamination assessments from Stage 1 Tier 1 to Stage 3
  • Be able to undertake geo-environmental and geotechnical site work
  • Be proficient in soil and rock logging under BS5930
  • Be able to schedule contamination, waste classification and geotechnical testing
  • Be proficient at writing desk studies and interpretive GIR
  • Carry out the design of remediation works and validation
  • Have strong technical report writing and clear verbal communication skills
  • Be proficient in MS Office
  • Experience of EIA process and reporting would be advantageous
