FULL DESCRIPTION
Youth and Worship Worker
Term: 1 year (Renewable for up to two more years)
Visa type: T5 Religious/charity Worker
Eligibility:
- Be Born-again believers who have been baptised and filled with the Holy Spirit.
- Be Committed to Christ, committed to His local church and committed to the Great Commandment of Jesus Christ.
- Have some proven record of ministry experience, such as leading worship, youth ministry or university student ministry or evangelism etc.
- Have recognised degree or diploma in music and able to teach music instrument/s
- Have a calling from God and be willing to serve His purpose(s).
- Be willing to learn, mentored and be a team player, submit to the GIF leadership and mission team leadership.
- Be able to communicate and conduct normal religious services in English
- Have support from local church leadership.
- Be willing to go back to serve in their local church upon the completion of the mission term unless the contact is being renewed.
Responsibilities and duties
- Be fully committed to the local church life, live a good example for church members, participate in church worship and mid-weak bible study groups etc.
- Work for a minimum 28 hours in youth ministry, worship ministry: to take part in building up church worship teams, to lead/take part in church worship service, to lead / or assist young adult fellowship and prayers meetings etc.
- Teach in Music and worship School for 12 hours of teaching.
- Be willing to take up any other church, missional or administrative responsibilities that are allocated by the church leadership or mission team leadership.
Wage and subsidy
- The UK immigration law does not allow wage in T5 Religious Charity Work Visa scheme, T5 immigration workers can be given expense subsidies or accommodation allowance.
- £250 per month as living allowance
- Free accommodation with free utility, Wifi etc.
- £550 per month allowance in music school
